Top 10 Sports Events of the Last 4 Years

 Adam  Williams  ‘14

In  honor  of  the  Class  of  2013,  the  Edsman  takes  a  look  into  the  10  best  sports  events  of  their four  years  at  St.  Edward.

1.  2010  Football  State  Championship As  sophomores,  the  class  of  2013  contributed  more  on  the  practice  field  than  on  the game  field  for  this  State  Championship  team.  But,  this  is  by  far  the  most  historic  and  important victory  for  the  school  and  the  class  of  2013.  This  championship  will  be  the  lasting  legacy  of  each class  that  was  involved.

2.  Basketball  Silent  Night  2012 With  the  Class  of  2013  finally  in  the  upper  class,  the  class  left  their  mark  on  the  history  of spirit  at  St.  Edward.  In  front  of  a  stunned  Garfield  Heights  crowd,  the  student  section  waited  until the  10th  St.  Edward  point  to  cheer.  At  this  point,  the  students,  fans  and  parents  erupted  into  a roar  that  lasted  over  10  minutes.  This  day  will  go  down  as  the  greatest  student  section performance  in  school  history.
